IPEMA SELECTS GARICK

Cleveland, OH – December 15, 2003 – Julie Sarada , in Recreational Surfacing for Garick Corporation, is a newly elected member to the Board of Directors for the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA™). Election took place at the general meeting in Tampa , FL this past November.
IPEMA™ is an organization with a philosophy rooted in representing and promoting an open market for manufacturers of playground equipment and surfacing. The objectives of the IPEMA™ organization are to represent and serve all manufacturers of the playground equipment industry, to provide members with timely, in-depth information on key economic and governmental issues affecting the industry, and to promote relationships with other related organizations to enhance the strength of the marketplace. Ms. Sarada was chosen for Director-at-Large, Small Company. Her term will expire in 2006. She is also an active member of ASTM International (American Society for Testing Materials) F08 committee for Sports Equipment and Facilities.
Regarding her newly appointed position, Julie Sarada says, “I'm honored to have been elected; this association offers a wide range of information, research and support to help those of us manufacturing within the industry, while additionally helping to educate the public, and most importantly the consumer, about the benefits of play.
