Paygro
Paygro , originally a division of the Mead Paper Company, was developed in 1972 to compost cattle manure from the Ohio Feed Lot. Since, Paygro has evolved into a major supplier to the horticultural, lawn, and garden industries with a diverse line of over 50 products. Paygro has a processing operation which bales and bags soil and mulch products.
Garick acquired Paygro in September 1998 to expand into the packaged bark and soil industries.

Smith Garden
Established in 1950 as Joe K. Smith, Smith Garden Products initial business only involved assisting farmers. We evolved over the years to a shavings and saw dust facility, and from there into the bark business you know us as today. In 1997, we changed to our name to Smith Garden Products.
Today we produce and distribute barks, mulches, soils and planting mixes for the lawn and garden industry all over the southeast United States. In 2004, Smith Garden Products was acquired by Garick LLC.
