About Us
Paygro , originally a division of the Mead Paper Company, was developed in 1972 to compost cattle manure from the Ohio Feed Lot. Since, Paygro has evolved into a major supplier to the horticultural, lawn, and garden industries with a diverse line of over 50 products. Paygro has a processing operation which bales and bags soil and mulch products.
Garick acquired Paygro in September 1998 to expand into the packaged bark and soil industries.

Carl Kipp, Jr.
Carl Kipp, Jr., founder and former President of Paygro, Inc. , was the first to begin the composting operations at Paygro. He has been involved with the agricultural and compost industry for over fifty years.
